Hammerwatch Coliseum App Reviews

First off, I would like to say that the bugs arent nearly as bad as the haters are saying. Second, its a fun game, with a somewhat good systemic story. It has some bugs, like when entering a boss room, it can sometimes take several seconds for your character to enter, even when the fight has started. Also, after you die, the screen can go black and you have to restart the game, but they arent common, Ive only encountered them twice in the time Ive played it. Ive played it for 5 hours and Im only level 15. So it should take around 26 hours to finish the game, so lots of gameplay, when you try out the different classes. And I really hate that most of the bad reviews are just people whove never bought an actual game rating it badly cuz they dont want to have to pay for it.

I am not the best gamer... I dont play a lot of games, but the few I do, I LOVE!!! I really do like this game!!! Its a free game for the first few levels, so why not give it a go and see if you like it? With the complaints of the loading screen, you cant just wait? And honestly, I love this game... And if I had money, I would definitely buy the extension!!! It is super fun and very creative!!! Just try it and see how you like it, dont rely on others opinions!!!!

I has the ability to be a great game but it is so glitchy and almost impossible for me to play. And like everybody else said the controls are horrible.

Lack of proper pathfinding is really frustrating when simple obstacles are in your way. Worst, it makes it look like the character is trying but just cant quite get around a corner. Dont require a login either until after the player is vested.

This game seems to be like Realm of the Mad God. Im going to leave the rating neutral because every time I select a level the screen goes black. Looks fun, but probably needs fixing.

Good game overall, but I think the game can be paid on the App Store, not in the game, because thats will just make people give a bad rate on this game, and maybe adding more classes will add more features of the game, and also a equipment system, the game is fun, Im looking forward to it, hope there will be more updates coming up

I cant play this game because it crashes to much. I had the computer version and I liked it a lot but this just feels like they are trolling us and it also feels like they didnt even test the game out.

As someone who bought the HammerWatch game on steam I had very high expectations for this game. Im not going to sit here and say that this is terrible because it isnt a bad game, however I think some things were executed poorly. First off the PC counter part to this game (HammerWatch) is way better than this mobile version of the game. But I can understand this is for mobile consumption and is more portable. Keep in mind, yes I am comparing the mobile version to the PC version so Im not being really critical. The controls for this game arent very good but easy to get used to. If you want the game go ahead and buy it Im not stopping you. All I am saying is that if you really want to "enjoy" this game then buy the PC version. The PC version has multiple stories and playing through each of them I can say that all of them are amazing. Plus the game is open to Steam Workshop so you can download other users maps. I recommend the Star Wars map because of how much detail went into the game. So go ahead and buy it but I definitely recommend buying it on Steam

When mastering poor controls is the main challenge of a game, I call it lazy game design.
